Postural assessment is a guide to determining muscular or fascial imbalance in the body and whether that imbalance contributes to a pain or dysfunction. It allows me to address malalignments when treating clients. By having this assessment of postural condition, it allows for determination of specific techniques to improve posture for the purpose of symptom relief. Techniques can vary for each posture and include deep tissue, passive stretching/lengthening, soft tissue release, trigger point therapy, and manual traction. Postural graphing will be used to track individual results.
